NOTICE of ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of EVEREADY East Africa Limited (“Eveready”) will be held on Thursday 23rd day of April, 2009 at Menengai Hall situated on the First Floor of Merica Hotel located along Kenyatta Avenue in Nakuru.
An appropriate notice of the AGM detailing the business to be dealt with at the AGM is contained in Eveready’s Annual Report and Financial Statements, 2008 (the “Report”) which has been posted to all shareholders and may be retrieved at the shareholder’s own convenience. The Report may also be downloaded here.
In addition to the ordinary business for the AGM, Eveready is seeking shareholder approval to expand the scope of its business under its Memorandum of Association.
If you are unable to attend the Annual General Meeting, please complete the proxy form enclosed in the Report and return it in accordance with the instructions set out on that form.
